FP&A Manager opportunity at global Life Science comapny (13m JPY):

Excellent opportunity to manage an established FP&A Team in a global Life Science business with $250m sales in Japan.

You will act as a leader within the organization, working closely with Senior Management across various Business Units in both Japan and APAC.

<strong>Job Content and Objectives:</strong>

Lead financial planning and analysis for the businesses under. Work closely with commercial business partners to achieve financial goals, fulfill requirements for financial analysis for strategic and business planning, budgeting, reporting 
<p class="MsoNormal">-  Lead preparation of the company’s strategic operating plan and budget.   The responsibility includes a coordination of financial planning process such as information gathering, timely submission of financial data</p> <p class="MsoNormal">-  Timely prepare/review the quarterly financial forecasts.   Promptly update the latest financial estimate in a weekly basis</p> <p class="MsoNormal">-  Analyse operating results and key performance indicators including identifying key business drivers/trends impacting the operating performance.  Prepare financial data summary and analysis for monthly closing reviews with the leadership team </p> <p class="MsoNormal">-  Act as an adviser to the business leadership team not limited to financials but also strategic issues in many aspects.  Advise risks and opportunities and ensure necessary actions are taken</p> <p class="MsoNormal">-  Provide financial analysis and support for new product launches including pricing strategy and profitability for existing and new promotional programs</p> <p class="MsoNormal">-  Work closely with the business to prepare and control monthly forecast </p> <p class="MsoNormal">-  Rigorously control operating budget for entire business


<strong>Requirements:</strong>

</p> <p class="MsoNormal">- University degree in finance, accounting or related field</p> <p class="MsoNormal">- MBA degree or CPA is a plus</p> <p class="MsoNormal">- 5+ years of experience in FP&A</p> <p class="MsoNormal">- International business experience and understanding of cultural and operating diversity</p> <p class="MsoNormal">- Strong understanding of all aspects of the financial functions</p> <p class="MsoNormal">- Experience in initiating and delivering the changes to promote efficiency and effectiveness</p>
