Leading International Heavy Manufacturing is looking for Data Compliance Staff
Job Description
Support and coordinate the entity-specific implementation of Data Protection requirements
mainly based on Japanese Data Protection regulations, but also GDPR where applicable. This
includes:
- Establish employee awareness of data protection topics
- Conduct and provide trainings
- Prepare local instructions
- Initial set-up and regular update of record of processing activities
- Support Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Deal with complaints and requests of data subjects
- Local coordination of Incident Management
- Consult and support the departments on information obligations, deletion concepts, privacy
by design/default and other DP topics; support by local Legal Counsel when required
- Consult and support the departments on Data Analytics use cases; support by local Legal
Counsel when required
- Monitoring of data protection measures
- Monitoring of new data (protection) laws and regulations and identification of local
implementation needs
- Reporting to and Alignment with responsible functions in Daimler HQ
Requirements
- Knowledge of Japanese Data Protection regulations
- Experiences in Data Protection / Data Compliance
- Knowledge of GDPR would be a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and precisely
- Strong analytical skills and structured process development
- Japanese level : Native-English level : Business
