Overview:
You will be responsible for the optimization (cost, quality, service level) of the purchases of your own scope of responsibility and making sure to answer the needs of his internal users in full compliance ( ethics, CSR, local and global procedures) and alignment with the regional and central procurement organization.
Job Contents:
1.NEGOTIATION-CONTRACT MANAGEMENT :
Negotiate the commercial terms (price, lead time, payment terms, price revision clause, …) taking in consideration the needs and internal/external requirements
2.SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT PANEL :
Lead the yearly supplier evaluation process in coordination with internal users
3.PRODUCTIVITY-BUDGET :
§ Guarantee the savings targets of his perimeter
§ Manages a continuous process of cost savings identification and estimation (cost optimization plan) implicating end users and suppliers
4.SOURCING-STRATEGY-BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE :
§ Define with end users and implement purchasing strategies on the strategic/critical categories
§ Contribute to the regional/global sourcing strategies by maximizing the supplier synergies and usage of the preferred suppliers
§ Support ( if needed) the central sourcing team on Japan sourced materials
5.COMPLIANCE :
§ Ensure the compliance with all local and global procedures (Purchasing, Quality, Finance, ethics, internal audit, …)
Requirements:
§ Education: University or business school degree
§ Fluent in English and Japanese
§ Working experience in purchasing department for 7 years or above ideally in cosmetics or FMCG
§ Expertise in buying Marketing services (VM, leaflets, postage, Web ad, comm agencies, call center,..) and promotional items for at least 4 years (GWP, merchandising tools and printing materials)
§ Experience in dealing with China and Chinese factories is plus.
§ Project management skills
§ Used to work in matrix and multicultural organization
§ Soft skills : Entrepreneurship, team spirit, Result oriented, Autonomy, Flexibility, Proactivity, networking and relationship skills
