Description

Are you a Senior Front End Developer with JavaScript experience who can develop responsive websites and rich interactive experiences?
This role will be responsible for the technical leadership and implementation of rich interactive experiences and innovative client-side web applications leveraging HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript on both desktop and mobile browsers.

In addition the responsibility will expand existing high-traffic web products and make requirement of web performance to API designer or product manager or Server Engineer. 

Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain rakuten travel websites and rich interactive experiences
Update existing websites, develop cross-browser responsive web applications
Research code design patterns, UI techniques and emerging web/mobile technologies
Develop web application for web performance
Be the performance expert from front(user) end side
Works well with API designer and server engineer and product manager with especially performance tenet to know what is appropriate to build
Do whatever it takes to make high quality UX and speed web site successful!





 
Minimum Qualifications:


 In-depth knowledge and experience designing and developing client-side interactive features using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
 Knowledge of other Javascript libraries (Angular, Backbone, Underscore, etc.) 
 Day-to-day leadership for the front end development team

  
Preferred Qualifications:


 In-depth knowledge and experience designing and developing client-side interactive features using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
 Day-to-day leadership for the front end development team
 Excellent understanding and experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD)
