Overview: A European mulitnational automotive supplier producting a wide range of automotive components for global OEMs as well as aftermarket.
Mission:
- Ensure the profitable growth with the Customer he/she has in charge worldwide, defining the Group Commercial Strategies and promoting appropriate innovative products, modules and systems.
- Major customer : JOEMs and some Heavy Duty OEMS
Responsibilities:
- Define the Group commercial strategies to ensure the positive evolution of sales and orders in all the geographical areas where the Customer operates.
- Maintain and develop his/her deep understanding of companies competitive advantages to be able to select strategic projects, appropriate innovative products, modules and systems.
- Establish the Customer Strategic Documents in order to define the Group vision for the customer.
- Define the strategic projects to be acquired in order to ensure future sales growth, in close collaboration with the BG’s – PG’s Customer Directors.
- Detect specific product interests from the customer and follow-up with the concerned BGs/PGs, ensuring the defined interests is translated into business.
Ensure consistency in the Customer follow-up and secure the quality of the relationship in case of potential conflict.
- Ensure resolution when there is a potential conflict of interests among the BGs/PGs.
- Manage crisis situations to avoid damages on the relationship developed with the customer.
- Ensures the application of the Group’s general sales conditions, especially follow a coherent approach concerning aftermarket policy regarding the customers.
- Ensure vehicle volume forecast consistency for his customer and filling-in in the Group database.
Business intelligence and information sharing: Identify decision making actors and processes on Customer side, gather and share all useful information with concerned BGs/PGs and functional networks (ex. R&D, Industrial, Quality).
- Ensure good knowledge of the client’s product launch strategies, systems, platforms and car models.
- Investigate and identify the decision-making process and who’s who in order to develop an intimate relationship with key decision makers in customers’ purchasing, engineering and marketing organizations at senior level.
- Be the customer’s central contact for information concerning the organization, key persons, new vehicle launches, production plans, etc, of the customers and communicates this information to BG’s – PG’s Customer Directors/Managers
- Coordinate all the BG’s – PG’s strategies and activities related to the customer in charge.
- Organize and lead the network meetings with BG’s – PG’s Customer Directors / Managers in order to cascade messages and share customers’ information.
Develop/Reinforce intimacy between the Customer he/she is in charge.
- Organize VIP meetings between the customer .
- Prepare and organize the customer visits and events.
Requirements:
MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering
10 years in an automotive management position
Business Level English
Fluent Japanese
Experience working with Nissan will be given special consideration
