Overview: A European mulitnational automotive supplier producting a wide range of automotive components for global OEMs as well as aftermarket.
Mission:
• Anticipates HD and Aftermarket (OES/IAM/VS) needs in all regions and identifies customer specificities, technical trends, legislations evolutions & opportunities for the PG.
• Collects and analyzes all HD OEM and Aftermarket data for the PG.
• Contribute to HDAM strategy elaboration and support its implementation on respective markets.
• Harmonization of business plan in line with PG strategy..
• Participates to the organization of customer or outside events.
• Sharing his/her capacity to the 3 main functions:
- HD OEM Business Intelligence and Market Analysis.
- HD and Aftermarket Product Marketing.
- Communication and Event Management.
Responsibilities:
• TCP PG HD Business Intelligence & Market Analysis:
- Regional market analysis of our Compressor product line for HD OE application use.
- HD OE segment market analysis (Bus/Coach, Truck, Refrigeration truck, Agricultural, Industrial, Military) on our Compressor product line.
- Regular competitor profile updates/analysis.
- Competitive positioning:
Maintain up to date business intelligence on each key competitor and newcomer, formulate their strategy.
Define value propositions that differentiate our offerings from those of our competitors.
• TCP PG HD & Aftermarket Product Marketing:
- Identification of regional & technical trends, market drivers and legislations evolutions.
- Market Assessment:
Coordinate Heavy Duty Marketing network upon each division
Establish all the market data related to the PG in HD OE.
Articulate aftermarket marketing by VS with the PG industrial strategy
- HD OE Product Portfolio Management:
Evaluate compressor product portfolio to ensure the presence of attractive offers in existing and targeted HD OE segments.
Evaluate potentiality of new technologies together with HD & Aftermarket R&D.
Help to develop solution offerings that are difficult for the customer to unbundled.
Specify new product characteristics with R&D to develop/improve product portfolio.
• TCP PG HD & Aftermarket Communication & Event Management:
- Systematic observation & analysis of competitors /customers communication.
- Supports all external communication tasks: press articles, multimedia promotion material and advertising contents
- Supports organization of tech-days, ride & drives and auto shows.
- Ensures professional event preparation, briefing /debriefing and manage feedback database.
- Coordinates all event related activities with Group/BG.
- May represent TCP PG HD and Aftermarket during these events.
Education / Background:
- Technical or business school degree combined with a solid background in marketing with wide experience of the automotive
field.
- A minimum of 3 years in the automotive field and especially in the Aftermarket segment.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
