The company is a large American Asset Management player in Japan.
Role
To strengthen existing client relationships and develop new business for retail investors through wrap and sub-advisory with domestic asset management companies
To lead the retail sales team, and develop and implement sales strategy
Educating clients about the wide range of products to promote cross selling
Required skills
At least 10 years of experience in financial markets, with 5 years in buy-side portfolio management, product management or relationship management roles at an asset management company
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills both Japanese and English
Outstanding relationship building skills
Strong understanding of Fixed Income and Equity fundamentals
Understanding of macroeconomic environment in Japan
Ability to work in a team environment is critical
MBA and/or CFA are highly preferre
