Senior Demand Planner

Our client is a leading multinational pharmaceutical company, which operates in more than 140 countries all over the world, is looking for a Senior Demand Planning Specialist.

Primary responsibilities:


Creates an unconstrained consensus forecast for the market / cluster in monthly buckets (statistical modelling and adjustments) 
Maintains demand parameters for the portfolio, manage baseline, upside and downside scenarios 
Assesses trends, risks and opportunities together with the commercial teams 
Reviews gaps to financial plan 
Monitors forecast consumption vs demand and work with fulfilment managers to respond to forecast evolution during the cycle 
Escalates short term demand issues (unavoidable demand) to fulfilment planners / managers 
Performs forecast performance analysis 
Provides input to Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing, new and phase out products

Requierments:


B.A or M.A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Satistics is prefered
Business level of English and Japanese
5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Logistics
Proficiency in use of Manugistics/SAP
Proven ability to summarize and simplify complicated data set with high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels within the organization
