Job Description
- Responsible for initiating project concepts, developing objectives, plans, assigning priorities & completing multiple, significant R&I projects.
- Mobilize and coordinate those involved in projects (internally and externally).
- Ensure implementation of necessary technical resources to meet targets and deadlines.
- Monitor the quality and conformity of formulas.
- Provide scientific expertise and play an advisory role to ensure projects run smoothly; act a project champion.
- Extensive inter-departmental/inter-divisional company interaction (e.g. Marketing, Manufacturing) and externally.

Requirements
- Advanced scientific knowledge in hair color formulations and hair science and product awareness.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive and entrepreneurship.
Preferred:
- Intermediate knowledge of product innovation and development processes.
- Developing cross-disciplinary scientific background; ability to work within internal network.
- Ability to lead a project team and share expertise within and across zone.
- Advanced formulation, analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable IT and R&I laboratory systems.
