Job Description
• Oversee and account for all activities and performance of the marketing division.
• Be instrumental in strategy formation within the division and review and approve all strategies in application by team members
• Collaborate with other departments and HQ to create plans and strategies, develop clear product launch plans and materials aligned with company's vision
• Responsible for continuous development of the brand to increase awareness, uniqueness, relevance and reputation among target consumers
• Ensure consistency in all marketing strategies and tactics, and that the brand's standards are maintained across all channels
• Lead the development of inspiring designs, content and campaigns and communicate the brand's story creatively to enhance brand awareness
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the brand's profitability efforts through product driven activities and marketing spend efficiency / effectiveness improvements
• Lead a team and liaise with overseas office and counterparts, reporting directly to Country Manager
Requirements
• 10 years working experience in a high-level marketing position for a business in a dynamic and highly competitive environment
• Well-rounded knowledge of the marketing industry, not only being skilled in a single discipline of marketing
• Demonstrate vast experience in leadership and an ability to motivate and promote professional development of a cross-functional team, having led that team from the conceptualization of a marketing initiative to its successful completion
• Have advanced working experience dealing not only with online but also offline marketing and communications (media relations, events, agency management) functions
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of market dynamics and an ability to translate them into actionable strategies and marketing programs that aid in achieving the brand's overall objectives
• Native Japanese and Business level English
• Dynamic self-starter and team player with good people management skills
