Job Description
•Develop go-to-market strategies and be instrumental in conducting successful product launches
•Formulate product positioning, unique selling points and messaging to differentiate the brand's products in the market
•Conduct market research and trend analyses to gain consumer insights for developing market requirements and product positioning
•Manage the full product life cycle of the brand's products, including alpha and beta programs for new products and product enhancement
•Communicate packaging/localization requirements, key visuals, POS materials and merchandisers information to marketing, commercialization and localization teams
•Develop and optimize sales enablement materials and tools to enhance sales
•Manage product SKUs, product line reviews and work closely with regional sales teams to optimize sell-in/sell-through performance.
•Promote the brand’s products at international trade shows and customers events.
Requirements
•5-7 years of product marketing experience in the consumer goods industry
•Keen knowledge of current technology and market trends and strong interest in exploring new technologies
•Experience in UX, connected and smart home devices and home appliances.
•Familiarity with retail environments in Japan and experience in launching products in big box retailers.
•Experience in developing marketing programs and collateral
•Strong presentation skills
•Proficiency in Japanese and English, Mandarin a plus.
•Team player who is able take initiative and work independently.
•PR, e-commerce and digital marketing experience a plus
