Job Description
• Work closely with overseas counterparts to implement local web strategies aimed at enhancing the brand's overall online presence
• Lead the development and execution of social media strategies as a key communication tool to enhance brand awareness, visibility, inquiries, leads and sales for the Japan market
• Propose and monitor marketing budget to optimize ROI and conduct ROI analysis
• Conduct market research to establish market trends and opportunities
• Formulate and execute marketing strategies aimed at targeted markets and segments
• Identify opportunities for new product development, licensing and entry into Japanese market
• Co-ordinate and oversee all PR activities, and manage on-site and off-site projects and events in collaboration with department heads
• Develop editorial guidelines and content creation processes for various media platforms, and ensure smooth content delivery in local languages
• Develop and maintain relationships with media to propose relevant tie-ups and campaigns
• Ensure compliance in brand-related visuals usage to maintain brand consistency in line with brand positioning
• Cultivate good understanding of departments' needs, expectations and operations
• Lead and be accountable for the marketing team
Requirements
• Proven experience in marketing and branding for an International brand in Japan
• Strong cognitive, analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Strong presentation skills with proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to apply robust CRM and customer analytic system knowledge for marketing and sales growth
• Possesses good interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivities
• Experience in working with management
• Team player who is able to work in fast-paced environment
• Native/Fluent Japanese (written & spoken)
• Fluent English (written & spoken)
