Job Description
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Continually seek to build and enhance enduring relationships with key customer executives while working to achieve a thorough understanding of their current and future service requirements
* Design and execute well defined process to continuously review and engage with customer around performance against contractual obligations and customer expectations, across full range of our hardware, software and services in use by customer
* Optimize the services revenue stream from assigned customer and take active measures to identify additional services opportunities and engage sales/pre-sales resources to work on proposals for this additional business
* Work with relevant customer and our personnel to ensure timely contract renewals, installed base data updates, billings, and collections
* Educate internal stakeholders on Customer requirements, future strategies and directions
* Escalate customer concerns and problems to appropriate functions within our company, and engage with senior management as required to drive resolution
* Provide thought leadership to both our company and Customer to develop service strategies and directions with a strong focus on managed services
* Provide direct leadership for assigned Account Support resources, and manage virtual teams across multiple functions to achieve desired outcomes
* Manage projects requiring innovative business solutions and new technologies, and develop enterprise-wide transition strategies
Requirements
Basic qualifications
- Native level of fluency in Japanese language, and business level of fluency in English language (written and spoken)
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 8+ years of related experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate at all levels within the Customers organization, especially with key decision makers
- Experience in contract management and driving service improvement initiatives
- Excellent organizational, influential and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship management, industry expertise and the ability to assume the role of business consultant
Preferred qualifications
- Master degree preferred
