Company Overview
My client is a US based Bio-Pharmaceutical company with an established business in Japan and the APAC region, as well as an excellent pipeline of products and market capitalization. They are looking for someone to lead the commercial side of their FP&A function (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis), reporting directly to the local Finance Director.
Job Description
- Involved in consolidation process for forecasts and budgets, and complete review packages for Japan
- Provide financial supports mainly for Commercial teams
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports - analyzing financial results, key trends, current and future business risks and opportunities
- Provide support for business review meetings process, including preparation of support schedules and ad hoc analysis as needed by stake holders and business partners
- Provide support on projects such as sales force effectiveness and regional expansion of the business
- Accelerate business partnering with stake holders such as Commercial Operations, Marketing Team, Sales Team and all other related functions
- Lead and influence cross functional teams as appropriate
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant finance experience
- A/BS is a must, MBA or equivalent master degree is a plus
- Advantageous with experience in healthcare industry (preferably in pharmaceutical industry)
- Experience in multi-national organization is a plus
- Basic knowledge and understanding of finance/accounting
- Working knowledge of ERPs (Oracle, SAP etc) and reporting tools (Hyperion, TM1 etc)
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to work in a fast paced and changing environment, meeting deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
- Problem solving skills, structured and logical thinking capability
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Proficiency in written and verbal English required
- Academic Level : Bachelors
- Advantageous for MBA or equivalent master degree holders
