Overview:
You will be responsible for effectively providing all IT support relating to desktop applications / hardware, installation and maintenance in a well-established financial services organization. Working with a highly experienced IT support team, you will proactively identify recurring patterns and provide the appropriate IT fixes.
Responsibilities:
Provide level 1 and 2 desktop support for applications, hardware, network and mobile devicesTake ownership and responsibility for the IT service tickets, closing issues and escalating when necessaryBe responsible for application and hardware installs, upgrades, and be involved with IT projectsAnalyze past IT issues and proactively monitor and investigate problem statisticsBe involved in hands-on support for all areas of the internal IT Infrastructure
Requirements:
At least 4 years’ experience in a desktop support, helpdesk role or similar technical positionExperience working in a high pressure environment, or in the Financial Services sectorSolid PC, Printer, Virtual Desktop and Infrastructure knowledgeExperience of mobile devices management (Blackberry / iOS devices / Android devices etc.)Experience with financial services applications would be a plusMCSE or other IT certifications are a plus
