Job Description
Product Manager, Primary Care
Purpose
Responsible for developing, prioritizing and implementing brand strategy with cross-functional team to capture critical customer insights, in order to establish sophisticated brand strategy
Key Job Accountabilities
Develop strategy for diabetes product based on customer insight
Work collaboratively with global and local stakeholders to ensure maximum performance across the diabetes franchise based on KPIs
Work collaboratively across functions and departments to drive ongoing success sharing best practices on achieved customer engagement wins
Conduct readiness of new indication(s) for the brand
Manage KOLs to deliver brand message properly
Align the broader organization and multiple functions on customer experience metrics and drive a team shared vision for digital go to market mindset
Design tactics based on strategy closely work with strategy team members
Work collaboratively across functions and departments to drive ongoing success sharing best practices on achieved customer engagement wins
Create materials both on paper and digital based on brand strategy
Work on creation and rollout of appropriate training programs to drive understanding and improving capabilities in field force
Requirements
Track record in successfully leading cross-functional projects, involving multiple stakeholders into successful outcomes
Logical and strategic thinking, analytical skills with ability to bring project management tools into play for problem solving
Excellent communication skills – easy to connect with internal/external stakeholders in Japan and global
Exemplary presentation skills and ability to engage senior management in both English and Japanese
Experience in driving training and capability building projects in large, complex organizations and leading change management initiatives
Background
Must have
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Past exposure/experience in pharmaceutical marketing (at least 3years)
Past experience in Key Opinion Leader management and/or material creation in pharmaceutical market
Fluent English level (Business level, can discuss with global marketing)
Nice to have
MBA preferable
Experience in diabetes area marketing preferable
Experience in leading complex cross-functional projects and in working with senior management
Product Launch/New indication experience desirable
