Company Overview
My client is a globally leading Risk Management firm with a stable business in Japan and the APAC region, but originally from Europe. They are now looking to hire someone to join a newly Developing Business unit to lead all back office Finance processes, reporting to APAC HQ.
Job Description
As Finance Specialist you will be leading the Finance Function in a standalone position, reporting to both APAC and the Japan Head. Your main responsibilities will be follows:
- AR/AP work
- Leading all closing processes
- Invoicing
- Document preparation for both External Audits and Tax work
- APAC reporting
Requirements
- Fluent Japanese and Business English
- 5 years of Finance and Accounting experience
- Ability to lead Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-end closing
- A well established Finance career with the capability to drive the back office Finance function
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and J-GAAP
