Job Description
Pricing:
•Support the company’s pricing initiatives such as price strategy development, implementation, day-to-day price management and monitoring
•Driving continuous development of pricing guideline, processes and tools to improve effective-ness and efficiency
•Optimize trade terms with wholesalers (rebates and allowances) to drive optimal CGM for Company in collaboration with the wholesaler team at BU
•Identify improvement opportunities in pricing through KPI monitoring and various data analysis (in conjunction with product portfolio, channels, wholesalers, customer segmentation, etc.) Business Analytics:
•Conduct hypothesis-based analysis to address various business questions by identifying appropriate data source and methodology
•Collect, manage and share market data and other relevant information across all available sources to assist the company’s informed and timely decision-making
•Serving as in-house business intelligence expert as a team to lead improvement of data-handling, reports and analytics
•Bachelor’s degree or above in business, economics, finance, statistics, etc.
•MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree is a plus
•Fluency in Japanese is a must (i.e. JLPT N1)
•Fluency in English is a big plus (i.e. TOEIC 900 or above)
•At least 1-3 year experience in data analytics and/or quantitative market research in the healthcare, or consumer goods industries, etc.
(Experience in pharma, especially generic industry, is a plus)
•Relevant experience to pricing (e.g. B2B pricing, trade terms optimization, revenue/profit management, business case development, financial modeling, etc.) is desirable
•Previous management consulting experience is a big plus
•Experience in sales, marketing or market research in pharma is a plus
