Overview of Role
Within the global product document organization, you manage the platforme and ensure that they are highly available, secured and fast.
Daily :
-You’re the entry point from any request coming for Customer Support.
-You proactively ensure that the platform is running correctly
-You participate to release deployments.
-You make sure that the processes and policies are followed.
You collaborate with the rest of the Ops team to continuously improve the platforms.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop procedures and processes for applications support and maintenance
-Monitor and respond to requests coming from Customer Support.
-Troubleshoot and solve issues filled by Customer Support (for example : an email has been sent twice to a recipient)
-Transfer knowledge to Customer Support to make them more independent on recurrent issues manageable by themselves.
-Monitor the platform metrics and ensure that they meet client SLA
-Communicate and share any relevant information (KPIs, incident reports, etc…) to Customer Support.
-Implement tools to automate recurrent tasks.
-Make sure that the platforms are compliant with the Security policies.
-Document the issues and procedures to fix them.
-Account setup
Job requirements and Qualifications
●Management of production infrastructure in Windows Server environment.
You will be faced with the tasks and various situations in which your analysis and initiative, your logic, your reactivity ability, and your thoroughness will be sought.
●You are fluent in several technical elements of our infrastructure.
●Technical Environment of the job:
●Servers : Dell, HP
OS : Windows Server 2008/2012
Database : SQL Server 2012, SSIS
System : Active Directory, IIS
Programming languages : .Net, batch VBS, Powershell
Monitoring : Nagios, Cacti, Smokeping, Geneos
Other tools: Splunk
●A Microsoft certification, network and Linux administration knowledge are preferred
●Business level English is preferred.
