This company is seeking a Java developer, ideally with Scala experience to assist in the development of the company’s ecommerce payments experience.  This position will be responsible for the development of business logic that handles millions of payment transactions and associated processes. 
 
The Role
Developing business logic using Scala Unit testing Updating, fixing, and enhancing existing code Design and development of new modules or components Use of standard design patterns to produce maintainable code Ongoing performance analysis to ensure code is efficient Assisting in build and deployment 
Key Skills

At least 4 years relevant experience in Java development At least some Scala, AKKA, Play! experience desired University Degree Native/Professional Japanese Experience in finance, payments processing or sensitive data management a plus English Fluency a plus
