Job Description
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Responsibility of statutory financial statement preparation
- Manage and coordinate the monthly / quarterly and annual management closing process
- Ensure statutory tax compliance
- Manage the accounting team (accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, accounting)
- Lead/Participate in finance projects
Requirements
Education/ Experience
・Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree in Finance / Economy / Accounting preferred)
・Experience: 3+ years in people management and 5+ years in Finance / Accounting in an international company required
・Certificate: At least one of the following is required: Nissho Boki 2nd grade or higher, CPA, Zenkei Boki 1st grade or higher, and/or tax accountant certificate (Zeirishi)
・Languages: Business level English and Native level Japanese (JLPT N1) required
Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong communication skills to be able to work effectively with management and other functions
English communication skills to work with Finance Director global Finance team
Strong PC skills, including Windows, MS Excel, MS Word an MS PowerPoint
SAP experience an advantage
