Is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant Manager for one of the brands.
Job Description
You will be responsible for AP, and closing and management/financial reporting for one of the fashion brands.
Responsible for all tax related matters of several brands.
This is the top position for taxes, that will report to Sr. Finance Manager, and manage 2 subordinates.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial reporting to HQ
- Monthly closing and preparation of financial statements (BS, P/L, intercompany reconciliation)
- Review journal entries and payables
- Preparations for audit and taxes (corporate tax, consumption tax returns etc.)
Requirements
- Native Japanese and business English (especially reading and writing)
- Solid experience hands-on in accounting and knowledge of Japanese taxation
- Zeirishi certificate is highly preferred, but not a must if you have strong experience with taxes
- People management or team lead experience
- Exposure to SAP is a plus
