Responsibilities
-Provide full spectrum of Human Resource functions to the department and business units.
-Develop and administer sourcing strategies for identifying and recruiting potential new hires.
-Responsible for end-to-end recruitment process including posting of advertisements to onboarding of new employees.
-Perform a full range of Human Resource & Administrator duties including management of leave and performance and working with vendors for processing of monthly payroll process, final payment and taxation matters.
-Responsible for company event arrangement.
-Identify and drive the communication and sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
-Support line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy.
-Act as a liaison between the line and Human Resource to ensure that Human Resource services are aligned with business needs.
-Contact point for employee relations issues, assess situation and provide expert advice and coaching to business units and/or employees.
-Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns.
-Work closely with head office to build organization & people capabilities.
-Maintain a knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
-Performing any other ad-hoc projects and duties as and when required.
Qualifications
-Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration & related discipline
-Minimum work experience of 5 years in Human Resources; ideally in hospitality industry.
-Professional business proficient in English & Japanese, verbal and written.
-Resourceful and self-driven with high degree of professional integrity.
-Possess good knowledge and experience in talent attraction and acquisition, labour law, training and development, compensation and benefits.
-Possess strong people management skills.
-Possess positive work attitude and a keen learner with a “can-do” mind set.
-Independent and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
