Job Description

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE :
 Implement global security and architecture standards for IT/OT(Operations Technology) infrastructure at manufacturing plants by leading design and deployment projects at the network and compute levels
 Assume ownership of specified manufacturing plant IT/OT infrastructure and develop roadmaps and strategies to clearly define the future direction of the infrastructure to shop floor level
 Provide technical leadership and expertise to the IT and Automation support teams operating the plant infrastructure
 Use broad knowledge across technical disciplines to explore, identify and propose solutions in order to improve, standardize and develop plant infrastructure

 ネットワークおよびサーバインフラストラクチャーを運用するITチームメンバおよび工場エンジニアリングチーム内にあるAutomationチームに専門知識と経験をシェアし、戦略実現に向けて推進する。
 工場のネットワークおよびサーバインフラストラクチャーを改善、標準化するために、技術分野全体にわたる幅広い知識を使用して、ソリューションを提案・実現する。

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 Accountable to provide the high-quality plant critical infrastructure, its operation and OT security services to contribute to efficient and stable production.
 Lead Japan regional infrastructure/security team and responsible for developing the team and individual capabilities and set the team’s KPI and track its performance.
 Lead the delivery of Infrastructural projects and services and develop related plant strategies and roadmaps aligning with architecture guiding principles and standards.
 Act as Interface with key stakeholders (business, other global/local IT function) in terms of plant infrastructure and security matter.
 Own the relationships and manage the performance of infrastructure vendors both in support of projects and in ongoing plant operations
 Make innovative recommendations for new technologies leveraging industry trends and solutions while still aligning with existing IT roadmaps and strategic plans
 Represent regional business in global forums and discussions to drive alignment and evolvement of central IT standards and guidelines
 Convey and translate global Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Security and Engineering standards and guidelines into actionable strategies at the plant level
 Develop and communicate complex project plans to stakeholders and to our Governance bodies including Enterprise Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Investment Value Board (IVB)

 GMSGQIT Japanのインフラチーム代表として、他ITFunctionとガイドラインの調整等をを推進する。
 インフラストラクチャ、エンタープライズアーキテクチャ、セキュリティ、エンジニアリングのSOPや標準ガイドラインを工場に展開実現可能なレベルにかみ砕き、実行可能な戦略を作り、推進・ガバナンスを行う。
 プロジェクト立ち上げ時には、プロジェクト計画の作成、利害関係者との調整を実施し、必要なガバナンスプロセスに沿って、プロジェクトを推進する。

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Essential
 Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similar such as Engineering
 Experience leading infrastructure and security team, and offering services for factories.
 Experience in manufacturer, IT Company, or consulting firm.
 Lead the infrastructure and security team to provide the services.
 Relationship management skills; ability to connect and engage with local management and stakeholders on areas of expertise.
 Ability to set priorities, align stakeholder expectations, to develop and execute an associated action plan.
 Work with virtual teams located in different sites, aligning and adapting different work, culture and communication styles.
 Team player with some experience leading and collaborating cross- functionally to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
 Direct experience of deploying and operating the virtual machine including hosting, storage and backup, IT/OT networks, plant security principles and IT service management(ITIL).
 Excellent oral and written English and Japanese communications skills, business acumen with problem solving and analytical skills.
