Job Description
The company is an e-commerce line selling a
premium-positioned monthly subscription lifestyle box.
The most critical part of the business is securing collaborations with key cosmetics partners.
Cultivating and nurturing these partnerships on all levels ( C-level, as well as marketing & PR
managers level), crafting strategy for the beauty products inside the boxes to come,
additional offerings to beauty brands (special limited edition boxes etc)
and signing deals will be the main mission of the new Sales hire.
All prospective candidates must have a very strong consultative sales acumen. An established
business networks among marketing managers & heads of top beauty brands such as L'Oréal,
LVMH, Chanel, Shiseido, Albion, Pola as well as knowledge and contacts with smaller brands &
organic beauty players is a plus. We will also consider candidates without the network in beauty but
with proven sales track and business development from scratch in other industries.
n main offer to brands is sampling inside the box + media & SNS contents offer
(in exchange for beauty products), events, influencers actions. Each one of our corporate sale
projects is slightly different and it is important that the candidate has a good creative mindset,
excellent presentation skills, understanding of latest market trends & marketing practices in the sector,
as well as a good grasp of customer beauty needs and dreams
The prospective Sales team member must have an ability to think outside the box in offering
additional array of solutions to our beauty partners (examples include: our printed magazine tie ups,
SNS, events, influencer reach, customer surveys, newsletters, workshop groups, digital games, digital
contents)
About our company in Japan:
The company is located in central Omotesando in a beautiful apartment-like office.
Our main office language is English. However native level of Japanese is a must for this role as
many smaller partner brands prefer communication in Japanese.
We have a very low hierarchy, and being a small team everyone is very hands on and helps on variety
of tasks and business aspects.

Requirements
-3+ years sales experience with a proven track record
-Japanese (Native level), English (Business level)
-Experience or strong interest in beauty/fashion/lifestyle industry
-Experience or strong interest in social media, working with influencers, content creators, networking
