Product
• Brand Ideas with wow execution that create joined up and memorable brand experiences
• Oversee, raise and maintain the quality of work
• Set, share and uphold the worlds’ leading benchmarks for brand creation on every client program
• Chair and structure creative quality reviews
• Develop and enter work that can win leading awards in corporate identity design
• Let go of the pen and influence more. Touch and contribute to a broad spectrum of projects
• Take ownership for all the work. What comes out of the door is ultimately your responsibility
• Lead and enhance our digital creative thinking and execution (in motion graphics, video editing, 3D rendering) as well as shift from creative expression to experience design
• Create strong relationships with strategy to develop a world-class product
People
• Inspire and lead the creative teams
• Identify, nurture and develop talent for the business
• Own the performance management and career development of all Creatives
• Spearhead cultural initiatives and training to motivate, retain and build a strong creative team
Positioning
• Build greater public profile through interviews, award judging and writing for creative publications
Performance
• Ensure the creative team works efficiently and effectively
• Work with the CFO and leadership team to ensure that projects are delivered profitably CFO
• Optimize usage of creative resources
Partners and New Business
• Use creative expression to be a defining factor in pitches and growing clients
• Participate in key client pitches to ensure quality of creative input
• Play an overview role to clients on design-led work streams
• Develop strong client relationships. Be the Japan’s CMO’s most trusted partner
Furthermore, this individual will
• Ideate and develop innovative, iconic and effective analog and digital experiences that tell engaging stories, communicate benefits, and drive the creative department to continue to do better and bigger
• Collaborate with internal partners in strategy and client services to develop impactful concepts, insight, ideas and proposals to existing and prospective clients
• Continue to drive and evolve Interbrand Tokyo’s creative vision and direction that engages even more with employees and is contagious for clients and bring that vision to fruition as part of holistic brand rollouts, design, campaigns, executed via internal and external partners
• Manage the creative teams and expand our services and footprint in the market
• Make sure that our work meets the high level of creativity and innovation needed to create lasting impact and results.
• Work with directors to forecast resource needs and work with key stakeholders to drive a schedule for projects while prioritizing and using resources effectively.
• Approve creative and manage blockers or obstacles in the process
• Identify and implement appropriate process and level of effort to meet business needs
• Allocate, manage and track programs for creative development
• Build positive relationships with all disciplines and communicate and collaborate effectively across teams to achieve high-level outcomes
• Build strong relationships with clients and articulate complex issues in an effective manner
• Motivate, evaluate, mentor and inspire creative teams
This is a senior creative position and an opportunity and platform to partner with some of the most influential brands in Japan. Qualifications
• BA/BS degree level required. 学士号の学位が必要です。
• 10+ years of creative experience in marketing or branding, from a brand/advertising/marketing consultancy background required. Client-side experience a plus. 10 年以上のマーケティングまたはブランディングにおけるクリエイティブな経験(ブランド/広告/マーケティ ングコンサルタント出身者)が必要です。クライアントサイドでの経験があれば尚可。
