Job Description
Responsible for the following tasks as a Head of the local Finance team:
• Controlling, accounting, cash management, tax, risk management, IFRS
accounting and consolidation from a country perspective.
• Conduct investment and profitability calculation, analysis of deviations and risk
assessments.
• Managing all aspects of bookkeeping and reporting of Operation Entities and
Project Companies in Japan.
• Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts are prepared and reported in
an efficient and timely manner to meet tight deadline for Japan.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasts and quarterly forecast to
headquarters.
• Manage day-to-day cash management and payments.
• Responsible for audit documentation and coordinating with auditor for annual
audit to ensure that financial statements are submitted on time to the
headquarters and local authorities.
• Work with Management to provide financial information to support decision
making.
• Work closely with the Finance team in the head office Munich and Bangkok
• Reporting to local Management.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in accounting, master degree in finance/accounting or MBA is a
plus.
• CPA holder with strong knowledge in Japan GAAP and IFRS.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting manager or assistant accounting
manager role with MNCs with managing and leading the team and/or
subordinates successfully, experience in renewable energy is a plus.
• Experience, both implementation and usage, with well-known ERP systems a
plus.
• Fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken).
• Multi-tasking and able to work in a small dynamic team setting.
• Hands-on and able to work independently.
