Job Description
- Develop and maintain expense budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives and strategic plans.
- Monitor and analyze expense trends, identifying areas for potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present regular expense/efficiency reports to senior management (ppt), providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Conduct the monthly and quarterly expense closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with JGAAP and IFRS standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data for expense forecasting and provide inputs for financial planning.
- Organize and prepare materials for Efficiency Committees as secretariat
- Calculate unit costs for life insurance pricing, working closely with actuarial and underwriting teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies.
- Manage and organize financial information and data to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and security.
- Continuously assess and improve information management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
- Improve and upgrade report generation processes leveraging SAP/BO/Anaplan to ensure streamlined and standardized reporting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in expense analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in a managerial or team lead capacity. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
