Work details
Role
1. Oversee translation resources and develop and manage localization and translation processes through the use of software.
2. Process English to Japanese translation projects, track resources and timelines, identifying obstacles and proposing solutions.
3. Prepare and/or edit drafts of communications, compiling information and formatting material in alignment with Japan cultural objectives.
4. Assist in creating (in English) articles, manuscripts, marketing collateral, training materials, and other tasks.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in communication, English, Japanese, or translation.
2. Three years’ experience with translation and communications in Japanese and English.
3. Excellent English and Japanese writing and translation skills.
4. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
