Network Engineer

One of our esteemed clients in the Insurance industry is hiring a Senior Network Engineer in their Infra team. Excellent opportunity for someone who is interested not only in Networking technologies but also other areas in IT Infrastructure space.Primary Responsibilities---------------------------------* Develop highly available network designs in the following areas: Data (LAN, WAN, Datacenter and Cloud), Voice (Cloud telephony, VoIP, unified communications) and other network devices (Load Balancer, Firewalls etc)* Develop installation and maintenance implementation plan for network devices.* Responsible for maintaining and updating network technology architecture roadmaps through industry research and continued learning.* Provide and maintain network configuration diagrams to the managed environments* Performing capacity planning and network growth managementEssential Skills--------------------* 5+ years of on the job experience in a network architect or network engineering role* Solid understanding of Cisco internetworks, routing and switching and related protocols, LAN/WAN. Security, firewalls and load balancers. * Possess at least one of CISCO or network vendors’ certifications. * Strong Interpersonal skills and customer service skills are required. * Has to be able to communicate in both English and Japanese for meeting and email with business teams (英語読み書きが多少でき、コミュニケーション意欲がある方)Desired Skills (あれば尚可)-----------------------------------* Experience working with offshore/global teams.* Experience working with various operating systems and hardening standards, especially Microsoft Windows/Active Directory/Group Policy, VMWare ESX/vSphere.* Experience working with various Cloud services, especially AWS, Microsoft Azure.* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field* Experience or knowledge on insurance industry and systems
