MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily tasks
1. Cash application
a. Close open items with payments
b. Reconcile and manage deductions
2. Release of blocked sales orders
a. Check reasons (accounts receivable block or credit block)
b. Release order within approved limit
c. Escalate and gain approval for above limit blocks
3. Follow up with reconciliation items / deductions
a. Volume discrepancies with CS&L
b. Pricing discrepancies with CD team
4. Track cash discount payments / accruals
5. Liaison between CD team and finance on a daily basis about accounts receivable
6. Serve as a back up to other finance team members
Any other ad hoc requests by the finance manager / finance director
Monthly tasks
1. Issue monthly accounts receivable aging report
2. Issue monthly Accounts receivable closing deck
3. Calculate bad debt reserve as per Company Financial Policies
4. Follow up in writing with all customers about overdue items
5. Balance sheet account reconciliation for all assigned accounts
Support monthly closing activities
Annual / Quarterly Tasks
1. Support quarterly closing activities
2. Support the annual closing, 10K and FTCQ preparation
3. Update credit limits in SAP twice a year
4. Participate in the annual SOX control design and testing
REQUIREMENTS
· University degree or equivalent
· Ideally 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance
· Hands on attitude, good analytical and planning skills
