Head of BPA Japan

Fantastic Head of Business Planning & Analysis role at global Life Science company (flexible salary):

Great opportunity to join a globally leading Life Science company as a true leader and key business partner, providing strong and insightful decision support to the CFO and the  Executive Management team.

This is a highly analytical and technical role, and you will act as an expert in all basic and value-added management accounting activities, driving performance monitoring and measurement, monthly forecasting and yearly budgeting – coordinating activities across two Franchises.
You will lead key projects and pro-actively work with multiple franchises and Corporate functions to drive Sales, profitability and productivity improvements through critically assessing current business model, reporting directly to the Country CFO and managing your own time.



Major Accountabilities

•Drive the Financial Planning activities, ensuring complete, accurate and timely submission of financial performance both from local stakeholders (e.g., Franchise organizations) or to Division 
•Design and maintain early warning systems for financial tracking, ensuring accurate and advanced warning signals for all key financial measurements and results 
•Participate in strategic business development activities and advise Senior Management with regards to resource allocation & revenue growth opportunities 
•Support in developing strategic long term plans across Franchises, providing perspective on business performance and market trends 
•Carry out analyses on financial data, supporting and testing information provided by local organization or by Division 
•Support CFO Japan in various ad-hoc projects and presentations 
•Drive the implementation of Division BPA initiatives and be an advocate of the Japan BPA team with Division 



Key Performance Indicators

•Reliability, timeliness and accuracy of budgetary and financial forecasts 
•Internal customer satisfaction with quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of financial analyses provided by the BPA group 

•Effective collaboration with key stakeholders to help them achieve on their financial and business objectives 
•High quality delivery of financial actual, budget and accuracy of forecasts
