Senior Accounting Specialist role at global Technology company (6-10m JPY): Great opportunity to join an internationally leading business and work with some of the brightest Finance and Accounting leaders in the APAC region. Strong career pathway to an APAC role.
Job Description
General accounting tasks (Routine activities and business support):
・Review ERP system (SAP) to complete local ledger.
・Operate Japan’s month end close through cooperation with APAC Shared Service Centre.
・Manage Intercompany reconciliation, conversion and adjustment and reporting package.
・Operate fixed assets entry, release to asset classes and related matters.
・Support Monthly/Quarterly Balance Sheet review package with Accounting leader in Japan
Audit and other statutory processes
・Support group audit
・Support local statutory filing
・Support quarterly reporting
・Support Tax team
Requirements
・Native level Japanese (reading, writing, and spoken)
・Business level English (reading, writing, and spoken)
・At least 5 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
・ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
