APAC Staff Accountant

Job Description
•Understand the reporting requirements of the various entities within the APJ region, particularly for local GAAP and statutory reporting
•Participate in the month-end close process (prepare entries, provide support, reporting)
•Prepare monthly financial statement variance analysis and provide management with explanations for fluctuations in account balances vs. prior periods, budget and forecasts
•Perform account reconciliations
•Communicate with international teams and support the accounting and finance processes
•Facilitate requests from audit teams to ensure timely support to audit requests and inquiries

Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
•2+ years of relevant experience
•Experience with month-end close and statutory reporting
•GAAP knowledge (US/IFRS/Local)
•Excellent skill with Excel and other common computer applications
•Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
•Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
•Proficient in English
