Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for the financial and strategic planning of Fresh Upstreaming Initiative
- Together with the VP of Fresh Merchandising and Upstreaming leadership drive quality improvements and COGS optimization
- Establish management performance metrics and KPIs
- Ensure that the business targets and needs are met by conducting ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and cost activity analysis
- Identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct benchmarking and implement best practices from IPL and others relevant companies
- Create systems and tools to deliver timely and cost-effective costing information to management
- Establishing rapport and credibility with functional business partners
Requirements
- Japanese (fluent/native), English (business)
- Over 7 years f finance and accounting experience (or industrial engineering experience)
- Strong experience in FP&A
- BA or BS degree in finance
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience in manipulating large databases and Excel spreadsheets
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
