Job Description
•Identify demand/requirement for investment products and solutions through direct engagement and collaboration with the Distribution, Investment and research teams
•Monitor and research academic papers, consultant papers, capital market developments, market trends, asset flows, peer funds/strategies, and new fund launches.
•Study regulatory framework and trends that affects investment management business, distribution business, investors, capital markets, taxation, registration, and accounting
•Manage product related initiatives as lead, covering such initiatives as new fund launches, fund closures, corporate actions and strategic initiatives.
•Lead internal discussions on product changes or modifications and facilitate with the investment team as needed.
•Participate in regional and global product forums to represent local business interests.

Requirements
• Basic knowledge and understanding of investment strategies and portfolio management across major asset classes including multi-asset products.
•Prior investment management experience, fund due diligence, or investment consulting experience is a plus.
•Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
•Native or advanced business level language skills in both Japanese and English (oral and written)
•Knowledge of fund accounting, taxation, and regulation related to collective investment scheme is a plus.
•Equivalent of CFA, CAIA, and/or MBA a plus, but not requirement. Candidate will be expected to achieve CFA certification.
•Minimum of 5 plus years in Investment, Buy-side Product Development, and/or Investment Consultant experiences.
