Finance Manager

Company Overview
My client is a world-famous pharmaceutical company that acts as a market leader across multiple therapy and treatment groups, with industry leading medicines and an excellent pipeline of new products.

They are based in the US but employ around 4000 staff in Japan and have a stable yet growing business across the entire APAC region. The Finance Team here consists of around 50 people, but they are now looking for a strong Finance Manager to lead one of their FP&A functions.

Job Description
You will be working closely with business leaders to help strengthen and grow the organization from a strategic finance perspective, and your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Managing a 5 person team within the FP&A function that will work with multiple business units and product lines
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and deliver the best possible results across the business
• Leading forecast/budget processes
• Support the team in Monthly/Quarterly closing process:
• Managing and streamlining monthly reporting processes
• Variance Analysis an budget support
• Leading process improvement over forecasting and budgeting
• Support the APAC shared service finance centre

Requirements
• Active business partner experiences with strong relationship management and change enablement skills. Minimum 5 years in a Finance role (both Business Planning and Accounting/Controllership)
• Minimum 2 years people management experience
• Basic Accounting skill/background
• English communication up to Business Level
• Advanced Excel skill

Preferred Skills/ Qualification
•Audit or consulting background, or CPA or MBA
