Job Description
Role: QA ・Test Engineer
Location: Tokyo, Japan

▼ What You’ll Do:
•Author and execute test plans across multiple platforms (Android, iOS, web)
•Coordinate the execution of regular test runs between fellow QA Engineers
•Perform manual regression, integration, and acceptance testing on both an adhoc and scheduled basis
•Perform exploratory, unstructured testing as time allows
•Work closely with the engineering team to expand coverage of automated unit testing
•Report issues with reproducible steps, screenshots, and relevant information
•Reproduce and troubleshoot customer issues
•Escalate top issues
•Collaborate with teammates to refine processes and test plans

Requirements
▼ Minimum Qualifications:
•Business-level English proficiency; conversational-level Japanese preferred
•3+ years in a QA or CS role with direct interaction with engineering
•Solid understanding of project management and QA methodologies
•Working knowledge of issue tracking and test management software (e.g. Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.)
•Experiences with Android or iOS and respective interface standards
•Experiences with buying and selling on a user-driven marketplace
•Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to document and troubleshoot issues
•Excellent communication skills
•Exacting attention to detail
•Passion for improvement of user experience
