Company Overview
Our client, an international company facing rapid growth in Japan, is looking for an Accountant to join their team.
Job Description
As an Accountant you would be responsible for the following tasks:
• Book-keeping of all activities around account receivables and note receivables
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records and sub-ledger
• Credit setting according to the credit policy and agreed payment terms & conditions
• Monitoring account receivable aging & DSO, taking necessary actions to solve overdue
• Monitoring revenue recognition and assuring proper recognition
• Accrual of rebate/discount provision and payment
• Daily communication with overseas shared service center in China
• Continuous improvement on collection process
Requirements
• Education - BA/BS
• 5 years’ or more experience in accounting
• Business level verbal and written English communication
• Customer-oriented mind
• Contribution to team effort by accomplishing related results
• Communication with company employees and vendors
