This company is hiring a VP of Engineering to oversee a growing team of software engineers in the online payments industry.  In addition to managing the engineering team, you will take an active role in solving significant and complex problems involving “big data”.  Working closely with our customers you will be a vital component in developing the overall strategy and innovation within the company. 
 
The Role
Hiring of new engineering talent Provide leadership, mentoring and overall oversight of the engineering team to deliver project milestones Customer­focused development planning, using standard tools such as JIRA and agile Managing partner/vendor relationships and overseeing technical integration Foster a culture of iterative and continuous improvement by developing best practices and standardization 
Key Skills

Demonstrated experience in managing and growing a team of engineers in the ecommerce, payments or finance industries  At least 8 years experience in the technology industry as a software engineer or technical project manager University Degree Native/Professional Japanese Professional English Experience in finance, payments processing or big data a plus
