Job Description
Main business:
• Preparation of financial statements (BS / PL in monthly closing)
• Bank and cash management
• Accounts payable processing and management
• Fixed asset ledger management and depreciation
• Reconcile inventory reports
• Tax return assistance
Business details:
• Accounting according to Japanese GAAP and internal standards, preparation of monthly / yearly B / S, P / L
• Increase efficiency and accuracy of daily journal entries
• Accurate management of unearned revenue
• Cash management
• Accurate analysis of sales and expenses
Requirements

• Proficient in communication, both verbally and in writing

• A wide field of view and flexible response to things and people
Experience:
• Experience working creatively and constructively in a diverse background and environment where languages other than Japanese are used
• Overseas accounting system experience required, Navision experience is acceptable (others, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in business administration, economics, accounting
• Nissho Bookkeeping Level 2 or equivalent knowledge and experience required
• Tax certificate and accountant qualifications are acceptable
• Over 5 years of experience in accounting in an international environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 programs Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Navision experience welcome
• Advanced level of Japanese is required
