THE COMPANY
A famous global retail and fashion brand, managing some of the top clothing brands in Japan
THE JOB
Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly closing
Journal postings (Account payables, Prepaid expenses, Bank transactions, other accrual and deferral postings as needed)
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Respond to all vendor inquiries
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Reconcile bank accounts and cash balance at month end
Maintain books thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Provide supporting documentation for tax filings and audits
Assist with accounting manager, CFO, and other projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of accounting experience
Basic knowledge of withholding tax, fixed assets, and consumption tax
Proficient in Excel, MS office
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
