THE COMPANY
Our client is a foreign-capital pharmaceutical company which is currently growing in Japan. 


THE JOB
Japan lead for statutory reporting including JGAAP audited financials and all tax filings, financial policies and procedures, internal controls certification and internal / external audits. Lead team overseeing procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes and manage external support vendors. Key responsibilities include. 

- Monthly / quarterly / yearly closings

- Define, determine and approve local accounting and tax treatments under JGAAP in partnership with global tax and accounting colleagues
- Lead tax return preparation with outsourced partner (Corporate Tax, Consumption Tax, Depreciable Tax, Business, Premises Tax, etc.)

- Own and define local finance policies and procedures

- Oversee annual internal controls 

- Provide assistance to employees regarding finance related processes, forms, etc.
- Closely monitor cash management and bank relations

    


REQUIREMENTS
- A university degree or equivalent
- 5 or more years of controlling, finance and/or accounting experiences
