Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

A) Financial reporting to group headquarters through group reporting system

·         Prepare the group financial report and submit by the due date.

·         Maintain and update the data files

 

B) Monthly closing and preparation of financial statement.

·         Be responsible of preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss statement.

·         Be responsible of inter-company reconciliation.

·         Be responsible of reconciliation between of general ledger and other related modules or systems.

 

C) Review journal entries and payables.

·         Journal entries (accruals, prepaid expenses, cost reclassification, etc.).

·         Expense posting (general expenses, marketing expenses).

·         Inventory purchase posting.

 

D) Review and preparation of various internal management reports.

·         Monthly internal reports for the management review.

·         Internal reports requested by other departments.

 

E) Preparation of audit and tax returns filing.

·         Internal and external audit matters.

·         Corporate tax, consumption taxes returns and other tax reports filing.

·         Assist tax audits as necessary

 

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

·         Finance or Accounting manager in other group companies

·         Business Planning & Control (Manager) in other group companies

 


MISSION         

·         A) Assist Accounting Manager in monthly closing, and in prepare financial statements.

·         B) Assist Accounting Manager in financial reporting to Group head-quarters.

·         C) Assist Accounting manager in preparation of various internal management reports.

·         D) Assist Accounting manager in preparation of audit and tax returns filing.

 

TEAMS YOU WILL WORK WITH

·         Local Finance Community (BPCM, Finance/Accounting Managers, etc)

·         Local back office departments and brand side departments

·         Finance team in headquarter

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor degree or equivalent

·         At least 4 years of experience in finance/accounting related roles

·         Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS and SAP is a plus
