Finance Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES


1. M&A project management as a representative from Finance Department 

* Investigate and organize global information for Japan CFO and other managements 

* Organize and act as a representative of financial and tax due diligence, working together with external professionals and coordinating directly with the seller or the target company, review the DD report and support our internal valuation team 

* Arrange finance related items in transaction contracts such as a price adjustment clause, settlement scheme and external/internal financing instruments, closely working together with our Legal team 

* Cooperate with teams in Finance Department depending on relevance of each issue 

* Subject to the goal of the project and Veolia policy, discuss with Japan CFO and other managements in appropriate basis 

 

2. Project financing management 

* Lead financial arrangements depending on nature of project, including, but not limited to non-recourse project financing, external and internal corporate financing 

* Act as a representative from Finance department in negotiation and communication with variety of departments in our organization, external banks, professionals and joint venture partners by understanding the detailed structure of each project 





REQUIREMENTS

* Project management experience of complex projects across multiple functions/parties 

 Financial planning and analysis 

 Japanese tax system 

 M&A 

 Valuation 

 Project finance 

 Banking and financial instruments 

 Finance related contract documentation
