Job Description
Report to Sales Director
Lead Semi group in Japan to achieve and exceed the Sales target
Work with Technical Solution team and Business Units to get design in business from target OEMs in Japan
Maintain and build up relationships with existing and new customers
Develop senior contacts at key accounts
Prepare and review project proposals and reporting
Weekly Sales review meeting
Report monthly forecasting and bookings as well as Sales activities
Attend regional and global meetings as required
Plan and lead visits to potential customers to prospect for new business
Determine the terms of an agreement and closing sales including price and delivery terms
Gather market and customer information at high level
Understand the market needs, especially Technical trend, as well as overseas Semi market trend
Represent MKSJ at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Decide variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers
Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
Feeding future buying trends back to the company
Investigate and join industry specific trade organizations
Requirements
More than 10 years experiences as Sales manager in a multi-national company (such as Inficon, Phaiffar, Edwards, Advanced Energy, VAT)
More than 10 years Sales experiences in Semi market
Good communication skill and team work
Proven record to achieve the Sales target, strong mind to commit the Sales target
Proven record of management as well as the knowledge of management skills
Business oriented individual who recognizes the critical importance of the value that his/her organization has to the overall business directions
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to intuitively relate to new and different cultural and operational styles
Self-starter, proactive not reactive
Solid commitment to customer service, internally and externally
Preferably Electromechanical or Mechanical or Vacuum background
Interact with clients on technical issues related to their projects
Fluent Japanese and Business level English is must
