Job Description
· Provide brand governance, consultation and brand training to business or function
· Schedule and participate in developing a communication material showcase for brand compliance in the spirit of creating best practice examples.
· Provide Brand Standards guidance by incorporating Brand Standards into the new employee orientation programs, identifying areas of need, facilitating training activities.
· Responsible for building strong relationships with vendors
· Perform other duties in support of Brand Office initiatives.
· Implement an efficient brand governance process and workflows
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand strategy document to guide strategic decisions
· Coach marketing communication associates on their communication plans
· Lead integrated communications plans in support of overarching business objectives
· Advocate for new and creative ways to tell compelling stories and experiences that drive measurable results.
· Be responsible for the creation and execution of the end-to-end campaign strategy and activities that support our business objectives. This role will specialize in developing integrated marketing campaigns and programs across all relevant channels and will manage several projects for marketing and ecommerce integration.
· Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns by employing a mix of creative tactics, including multi-channel digital programs, content marketing, search engine optimization, account-based marketing, social media, events, advertising and direct mail
· Drive to produce effective sales tools and marketing materials including web content and marketing campaign assets
· Ensure that the organizations brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels
· Plan and carry out timely campaign delivery and execution
· Track, measure and report on campaign performance against metrics
· Identify and analyze gaps and actions plans to course-correct throughout a campaign to optimize the programs performance
· Manage the overall creation and execution of campaigns on budget, on time and on target
· Communicate effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence to ensure stakeholder alignment
· Own and lead marketing excellence training program
· Manage quarterly “foundations” program designed to both on board and embed all new starters
· Develop, implement and embed a marketing excellence framework
· Coach new and existing marketing personnel in areas of marketing planning, product launch processes, segmentation, value proposition development, branding, communications planning and other pertinent subjects
· Manage the internal marketing capability development. Provide training and support for use of the on-line tool.
· Entail offering strategic and developmental insight to drive marketing best practices and tools across Business Units in line with the BD Way of Marketing (BDWoM).
· The role develop marketing training programs and conduct the programs in line with the BDWoM.
· Partners with marketers to ensure appropriate positioning and messaging across many communications platforms and channels.
· Support Business units in developing and managing a marketing & communication planning and review process in line with the business’s strategic priorities
· Closely work with marketing to ensure continuous development of capabilities for marketing excellence within the organization and to develop effective marketing strategy and develop those include communication plan.
· Ensure marketing plans are of the quality we expect, coach where needed and ensure alignment and pull through of those plans with the regions.
· Identify best in class marketing trends – using market sensing, competitive intelligence and planning skills to identify how business moves from being reactive to changing marketing trends into a more proactive state.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing or Business degree preferred
· Marketing background (MBA preferred)
· 7+ years’ experience in marketing, marcom specialist, brand, communications (experience in healthcare industry is best; medical device preferred, however willing to look at other industry experience)
· 5+ years of experience working in world-class brand-building organizations in a combination of line marketing, global marketing, and marketing capability building roles.
· In depth experience in providing the business deliverables associated with the early stages of product development.
· Excellent written and verbal English as you will be required to communicate with Global Corporate Marketing team.
· Experience in building teams; development and application of best practices and global standards; Effective conflict management; Innovative thinking
· Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
