Job Description
• Collaborate on test case creation for our new digital devices with focus on Wi-Fi and 3G/LTE technologies
• Execute cases and provide detailed status reports
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues and consult with Dev teams to engineer solutions and fixes. Collect and analyze many different types of log files using several different recording tools.
• Provide detailed status reports for management and executives
• Identify process improvement needs and develop solutions and procedures, including the use of programming and scripting, to improve team efficiency
• Collect and review user experience-based metrics to find engineering defects in software and then devise solutions
• Provide support to customer service when customer complaints require engineering consultation (primarily in the area of radio connectivity)
• Travel to foreign countries and test for multiple days. (up to 50% travel could be required)
• Work as an individual contributor but also as a Test Lead for large-scale global test projects

• お客様の苦情が技術上の相談を必要とする場合は、カスタマーサービスに対してサポートを提供します（主に無線接続の分野で）。
• 海外へ出張し数日間に渡ってテストを行います（最大で業務日数の50％までの出張が必要になります）。
• 実務作業者として仕事を行いますが、グローバルな大規模テストプロジェクトのリーダーとしても仕事をします。

Requirements
Basic Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field - 3 years of experience in quality assurance/testing/technical support, or related activities
• Expert knowledge of wireless on Wi-Fi networks, intermediate knowledge on WAN (GSM/UMTS/HSDPA/LTE) and TCP/IP network data flow
• Intermediate level knowledge of the UNIX/Linux/Android operating system
• Competency knowledge in database filtering in SQL. Complex Jira query knowledge a plus
• High level of written and verbal communication skills in English which may be called upon to construct meeting agendas and lead meetings with internal and external participants

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled in automation and test scripting using Java, Shell scripting, Python, Ruby On Rails, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with UIAutomator, Appium, or Monkey is a plus
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred
• Experience working in telecom industry

望ましい資格
