Job Description
This position is a senior accountant position. Principal responsibilities of Consolidation, Statutory Closing & Reporting.
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Reporting the financial statements to Group company
• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with J-GAAP according to statutory requirements
• Defining accounting treatments, consulting with German headquarters and other functions to implement correct accounting treatment
• Interfacing with the financial auditor
• Lead accounting-related ad hoc projects (may include IT-related automation projects)
as required
• Motivate and guide Junior Accountants

Requirements
Qualifications
• University graduate or more
• More than 4 years working experience in a financial accounting function
• Japanese CPA is preferred, but not required
• Experience in consolidation accounting is preferred, but no required
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• High level of communication skills to navigate in international environment
• High level of motivation, with potential for leadership
• Strong organizational skills with capability of handling multiple tasks
• Strong mindset to work on constant improvement of processes
• Business level Japanese
• Business level English (more than TOEIC 850 level)
