Job Description
As a Brand Director, you will:
Define both short and long term objectives, set up strategies and operational plans to ensure success
Provide inspirational and charismatic leadership/guidance and set performance objectives for direct reports
Work directly and collaboratively with HQ and APAC team
Represent the brand and its values with customers and all stakeholders
Prepare the annual budget & plan for the department
Ensure the brand’s image and positioning
Communicate market information to company senior management
As a member of the executive committee of the company, actively participate in the overall management and improvement of the total company
Requirements
10+ years action sports, general sports industry, wholesale or footwear product management experience
High business level English, Fluent/Native Japanese
Passionate action sports participant, enthusiast
Understanding of or past relationship with sports wholesale accounts
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

The brand is an international sports fashion apparel, footwear and accessory company, based in the U.S. This is an executive position that requires you to represent the brand, so strong leadership and knowledge of sports and the brand is essential. You will be working in a diverse environment, and is expected to communicate and collaborate with counterparts in HQ and APAC countries.
